Invite your friends, invite your family, invite your pets, invite whoever you know LOVES FOOD & would appreciate a home cooked meal filled with fresh fruits, an assortment of carbs, eggs of all varieties, and HEY . . . maybe some mimosas ?
These are my tips on how to create your own brunch at home -- I'm keeping it simple, but delicious !
1. Who the hell are yah gonna be making this beautiful brunch for ? I mean, I know I would make an entire table for myself if I could, but that's no fun ! ! Simple enough, find some good company to eat some good food with.
2. Get the necessary serving platters out . . . plates for homemade pancake, waffles, french toast, croissants, homemade banana bread, bowls for yogurt, sliced fruit platter, forks, knives, yah know, the shit you eat with when you're not devouring food with your hands or off of a paper plate ? ? That should be very helpful for your lovely guests :)
3. BE FREAKIN' CREATIVE ! Brunch is by far the best meal of the day considering it's name contains two of the three main meals of the day -- let's just say it's MUY importante ! So start thinking outside the box and definitely have fun with what you are making--- Do you like fruits ? or are you more of a carb and egg eater ? And for the meat lovers, are you going to buy some good ol' bacon or switch it up and whip up some sausage ? Are you an awesome omelette maker who has been wanting to show some skills off in the kitchen ? Can everyone make their own personal frittatas made to order ? Gonna bake some banana bread (omg banana bread) ? Is baked oatmeal pie an option, or even a real thing ? (These are just some thoughts that randomly popped in my head, so I suggest you make a list of your favorites ! )
4. Once you have some good ideas, look up some AMAZING recipes on Pinterest ! This never fails and is self explanatory if you know how to work a computer.
5. Make sure you have all necessary ingredients and or tools to create such a wonderful table of deliciousness ! ( plan a day in advanced if you are a newby ) Your guests with surely appreciate your effort.
. . . And if all else fails or you forget something, you always have nutella to make anything boring THAT much better in the morning !

Rachel
