BYOB: Build Your Own Biscuit ( because well. . . I'm only 19 )

Beyond blessed to have been able to have eaten at this amazing restaurant last Saturday ! One of my amazing friends is currently living in the city this Summer and has seriously been teasing me via technology with all her amazing food everyday ! (wink wink Jan Song). My best friend and I ventured into NYC early last Saturday, and trekked an hour to SoHo only to wait another 20 minutes to be seated at Egg Shop NYC. But don't get me wrong, all my planning, walking, sweat, and phone data from my navigation was SO worth it to arrive here !

I checked out the menu the night before, and was totally thrown by the fact that I could create my own biscuit ... YES, a Build Your Own Biscuit option on a menu, and these aren't just any biscuits might I add. Seemed like an awesome idea the night before, but by the time I arrived at Egg Shop Saturday morning I went straight to the specials on the menu. If I was a breakfast sandwich I would definitely be this . . .smoked salmon egg scramble and tomatoes all hidden between a large everything buttermilk biscuit complemented with dill sauce. This breakfast sandwich is definitely new to the menu because it isn't even featured on the online yet .~ so exclusive ~ ANYWHO, this sandwich was named "Everything to Me" -- so fitting and witty, am I right?

Pictures of this breakfast sandwich are featured on my instaham @soyumsofun ! { definitely check it out }

Oh and get this, they even make tap water super yummy by adding mint and basil leaves to each glass bottle. I swear, they were refilling these bottles by the second, I should have even asked for the recipe maybe ? It seemed too good to be true. So, next time your looking for a fun place to eat with a simple menu loaded with TONS of breakfast flavor stop by Egg Shop located on 151 Elizabeth Street New York, New York. Let me know is you BYOB <3
